Georg Riedel died in Stockholm on February 25, 2024, at the age of 90, and was best known as a Czechoslovak-born Swedish double bass player and composer. Riedel migrated to Sweden at the age of four and attended school in Stockholm, including Adolf Fredrik’s Music School.
